Research Interests
Elena S. Kolegova is an author of more than 60 scientific publications, including 20 articles in the journals indexed by Web of Science and Scopus database. The main scientific studies of E.S. Kolegova are related to the study of the molecular mechanisms of tumor progression; the search for markers associated with metastasis and relapse of cancer. She is engaged in the study of protein regulation in the pathogenesis of malignant neoplasms.
Achievements, awards, and grants

Elena S. Kolegova co-authored three patents and two databases: “A method for determining the risk of developing distant metastases in patients with colon cancer” (No. 2623119, 2017); “A method for assessing the risk of an adverse outcome of a disease in patients with gastric cancer” (No. 2662085, 2018), “A method for predicting an adverse outcome in non-small cell lung cancer” (No. 2696872, 2019), “Database of clinical and morphological parameters and gene expression profile encoding cell motility proteins in patients with squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck ”(No. 2019620439, 2019),“ Database of clinical and morphological parameters and indicators of intracellular proteolytic systems in patients with non-small cell lung cancer ” (No. 2019621601, 2019).
In 2014-2015, she received a scholarship from the Government of the Russian Federation among students of educational institutions of higher professional education, studying full-time, according to state-accredited educational programs that correspond to the priority areas of modernization and technological development of the Russian economy.
She is a laureate of a scholarship of the President of the Russian Federation to young scientists and graduate students (Competition SP-2018) in the framework of the topic of scientific research: Development of a technology for predicting malignant metastases of non-small cell lung cancer for 2018 - 2020.
